A Warm Welcome | The Midwest Expo event hosted by the Illinois Videographers’ Association in Chicago this week was an overwhelming hit. It was a pleasure meeting shooters from across the country who gathered to experience a full day of diverse studio & sponsor presentations, including Canon, WEVA, Event DV Magazine and more. A big thank you to the IVA for their warm welcome and for putting together such a successful event. An extra special thank you to IVA President Keith Anderson who saw fit to extend the invitation to our studio. A highlight for me was guest speaking alongside uber-talented Patrick Moreau and Michael Y. Wong of StillMotion during their presentation on The Art of Wedding Cinema. Following our joint talk I caught rumors that there may be something brewing on the horizon between our studios… If one thing is certainly true, you can’t always believe what you hear.

Any plans to come to San Jose with your lecture? I love your Indian movie and we would love to hear more about the process of putting something like this together, the pricing and so on. My wife and I shoot weddings (since 2001) and we would like to get into these type of projects but we are not sure how to begin. We live within a large Indian community here and most everyone who we see we have shown your movie and they love it.
